To celebrate the upcoming 40th Anniversary of the first Battlemat being introduced into the market (May 21st, 1981), Chessex is bringing back some former mat colors plus a new color with a twist! These mats will be reversible with one color of vinyl on one side and a different color on the other. 23 1/2" X 26" playing surface.
The printed patterns on these two-colored vinyl mats will be the same on both sides; squares on both sides or hexes on both sides. This is a departure from the existing reversible single-colored mats. They will only be printed with 1ā squares orĀ 1ā hexes. They will notĀ be available in 1Ā½ā hex and square sizes.
